Default PIAA Bulb for Fogs

I am looking into getting a pair of PIAA PLASMA SPARK 8000K Xenon-Charged Halogen Bulbs.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these? they are quite expensive but seem to be the only Halogen to be of that color temperature

is it safe to use the PIAA SPARK BLUE 8000K bulbs as fogs in the foglight housing? wont melt the housing or anything will it? The specifications of the bulb is 55w but as strong as 110W regular halogen light bulb, does that mean it will produce heat as a 110w?

Yea I had the PIAA's aswell. Very expensive at 100 dollars for 2 bulbs. The color was meh.. and they didn't last long at all.

Nope, will not melt or harm your fog housing. What that means is that the bulb uses 55w and supposedly produces the light output of a bulb using 110w.
