Not feeling the tail lights, but I may change my opinion when I see them in person.
Those turn signal mirrors look similar if not the same as the GS. If so, I think I prefer the aftermakers over these OEM's, but thats just my opinion.
I do like the little chrome trim on the center console and the buttons look every so slightly different (more flat & sharper corners). But this is a really minor change. Steering wheel I can take it or leave it. For some reason I feel it looks much sportier without the wood.
Front bumper looks more aggressive then ours to me, and that looks pretty good, I think its the nicest change.
Now, waiting for more pic's...

Finally! Its nice to see the changes.
I'm happy to see that the changes were minimal, but it seems that they are trying to make the IS more mature now, especially with the wood grain steering wheel.
The grille is more spread out, and has thicker borders that makes it look more like the GS. I can't see the front bumper clearly, but there seems to be a huge hole beside the foglight assembly. Overall, these changes were subtle, and really didn't convince me that I made a bad decision by going with the 08.
For those red-out fans out there, the outer taillight is finally there, however, the inner piece is a bit weird. Not sure if they changed the rear bumper at all.
Most important change: MIRRORS!!! I'm tempted to get those for my 08 for sure. Wonder how much its gonna cost.

O.K. My thoughts:
Front bumper and air dam: looks sharper and more aggressive.
Rear taillights: a bit awkward with the swooped reverse light. I prefer the current set-up with red-outs.
Turn signal side mirrors: a huge plus.
Center console: very clean and aesthetic. Loses the bumps on the Nav buttons, so I like it.
Steering wheel: o.k. I like the look, but I know I'll hate the "feel" of the steering wheel. I love the feel of the whole steering wheel covered in leather.
Headrests: those look weird.

The scans are from some Japanese literature so this could be just the JDM version. Don't like the look of the tail lights at all, the current one or the IS-F lights look much better. But I know I'll be upgrading to those turn signal mirrors.

I don't like the rear at all, looks like a pissed off pug or something
Not a fan of turn-signal mirrors either, I like nice clean looking all-one-color side mirrors...though they don't look -as- bad as I expected...
Front looks fine, but I'd need a bigger pic to be sure... and I went out of my way to avoid wood and nav in my car so not much opinion there, other than to say the color of the wood looks better with the tan interior than the old wood did.
I'm more interested in the suspension changes that are badly translated so I can't really make them all out
