Possible? Yes. Likely? Not in my opinion. Toyota rarely changes the engines on models. I remember all the hopes that got dashed yearly on the IS300 with the warmed over inline six. I wouldn't be surprised if the 3.5 L in its current configuration ends up in the next new IS model too.

Wood steering wheel on the IS means LEXUS HAS JUMPED THE SHARK as far as wanting to be serious in the sports sedan segment ....

When are the wire wheels coming?

^I think it's something they should offer stateside on the luxury package. The IS350 is not a track star anyways... Wood on the IS-F, on the other hand, wouldn't really fit.

i dont care too much for the wood steering, especially in that color.

i also wish that the side mirrors will power fold. though they took that option out for 2009 in the C Class.

i highly doubt that the IS will get a power increase. though Lexus did do that with the RX330 after 3 years

It would be nice if the car was like silver or white so we could see the details of the bumper, but I think it looks pretty good from what I can see, pretty much the same car...

IMO, it doesn't look that good. I thought the front bumper would be better.
