Lexus Test Driver
Looks good up front. The larger central intake makes the dimpled/botox fog lights look more subtle. There is also a new step or ledge below the headlights and fogs. Rear taillights are so-so. I don't see it as an improvement, just different to be different. Sideview mirrors have more style. Dont' care for the new rims... they look blingy and overstyled. A deer hoof first came to mind for the spokes. Left tailpipe tip is still mounted off-kilter.

err... i like the mirror turn lens's BUT... rather than the wide dumbos we have it now appears they just stretched them longer keeping the same total amount of 'area'... *sigh* why couldnt we have isf mirrors

To each his/her own. But IMO, the styling is a little off and not as sharp or coherent with the IS design.
The front bumper looks bulkier and softer
The fog light casing looks rounded and out of place.
The tail lights are not as sharp, they looked “jeweled” or girly.
I like the current 06-08 design much better.

Nice updates. I think the L-Finesse wasn't the best direction to take this model (Altezza) in the first place, so I'm not sure how much lipstick can be applied here. Toyota/Lexus has to reap what has been sown. I will say this freshening is certainly way more tasteful than the stylistic choices made for the IS-F.
