not a big fan of the side mirrors with the silver trim around the lights.

the side mirrors appear to look less dumbo-ish maybe even smaller and i would imagine the rear tailights have a dot circle pattern resembling the g35 brake lights, judging from the pattern. but i guess we need to wait and see until someone purchases and 09.

i think if someone were to fiddle with chrome on the side mirrors and convert them into black pearl like the emblems. they would look pretty sick.

overall i dont think i really care for the changes. but again i probably need to see it in person. which dealership was this car at?

I think the grill would look very nice without the emblem

the white stitching on the black seats definitely looks nice, the tail lights aren't too bad either, not sure about the chrome on the side mirror signals though.

Im sure it will look just as pretty once it has a kit, big wheels, and dropped.

Hmmm. Part of me doesn't want to see too much change, because then it makes my '07 appear just as new, hehe. Unfortunately for the IS, I don't see much change here. my opinion...

The stitching *might* be because it's a sport or x package (I really do like the white stitching). The mirrors appear to be kinda gaudy with all that chrome but i think they'll grow on me. i do like the fact that the turn signals aren't huge. The new chrome grill looks stylish but kinda half done with the inset appearing to be the same. I like the more squared off central intake however, it looks half done because the fog lights are in the old style. The intake should have been larger. I do like that front step off the headlights. I want to like the tail lights but they remind me of the ES. maybe if the outer turn signal was designed like the reverse light, but in the top corner.

i think those new taillights make it look like a cheap car rather than a lexus, like i think i seen the new mazda 6 have similar lights in europe..thats embarassing if i am right...

can anyone find a pic?

also i agree with previous posters that it really does look girly...maybe also cus its a white color... but it looks like its for daddys little "princess". I hope thats not what this crap is turning into because i love my 08 and am so glad i didnt wait.

There was i think 3 2009 IS350/250 at taste of lexus today.

Real tailights: Ugly IMO!
Rear/front bumper: Subtle changes, The front lip looks flush but there is a crack between the two. The rear bumper has a little dark spot, like the middle part is grey. I dont know why its like that but i like it! Also im sure any 06-08 kits will not work with the 09 models. The rear bumper has sharper lines i think.

Sidemirrors: i dont think they're smaller but they do look great! I want

Rims: Ugly, i prefer the x-pac wheels or the oem spoked ones.

Saw the navi buttons: i think i prefer my current ones.

The biggest downside was the rear tailights imo...
