Default Non-centered steering wheel?

Wondering if anyone else has had this issue...

I recently replaced the stock Dunlop's with Toyo tires. Prior to this, my steering wheel was always straight (centered) when I was tracking straight on a highway.

After the tire replacement, the steering wheel feels like it has a larger "dead spot" and I need to **** the steering wheel to about the 11 o'clock position when I'm going straight. The car doesn't pull to the right but not having the wheel straight is driving me crazy.

I had the car aligned thinking that would fix it but no luck.

Has anyone else had this problem?

That is weird. I've changed rims, had coilover's installed, and have never had anything even remotely close to what you describe happen at all. Maybe the dealer needs to take a look at you front suspension. Either that or you had a crappy alignment job.

If the new tires were the same size as the originals and have the proper air pressure in all 4 tires the steering wheel should stay the same.

Alignment should include centering steering wheel but it is a extra step that not everyone does. Did you have the rear suspension aligned also?

take it to the dealership, i had the same problem, there is a TSB out for the car pulling left or right, as well as for having the steering wheel off center while going in a straight line. when i took mine in the front camber was off, they fixed it for me and its good now
