I was wondering if you buy aftermarket items like, front grill, front lip, rear lip, trunk spoiler, etc. Would it be a perfect fitment all the time? or would have have those mini gaps on the left side but not on the right side that you can barely tell. Little things like that really get to me and i was wondering if it is like that for many of the clublexus members here. thx

im going to be very straightfoward. all parts that you listed are body panel parts. in that regard, no matter if you buy OEM or aftermarket, there's going to be SOME fitment issues. more often than not though, OEM parts are precise enough to minimalize the fitment to unoticeable standards where unless you stand close and look for it specifically, you won't notice it. it's pretty much 95% perfect. aftermarkets though are not as perfect. there will almost always be imperfections that are significantly more noticeable. Usually they're the same imperfections to OEM parts but to a greater degree.
what i mean by this is that when you attach the OEM lip, the edges where they meet along some corners may not be perfectly flush. it might be off by a mere 1/2mm. aftermarkets might be off by 1.5mm. some aftermarket parts might even fit period. that being said, some aftermarket parts are high quality, matching or even exceeding OEM precision. basically what im trying to say is, you get what you pay for. the more you pay, the less like there will be significant imperfections and if there is (which you should expect) it'll be to a lesser degree.
