The price to pay for being exclusive..$$...but only you and maybe if you run in to some CL members would only know its true value..other than that..."others..non LEXI owners" would see it as a $25 key case Imagine you losing your $100 key case with your $$$ key fod....wow who will be hating life at that time.

Well I'm sure that B ig M oney W asters. are not too far behind I can talk..I own a German car also...I have a Porsche accessory catalog that I can't begin to say what overpriced German garbage they sell also..hey fair is fair
Remember....It's all Lexus...and our dollar isn't doing too good against the Yen..so you can add that on top of it being expensive..and they don't out source some 3rd world country to make these items. My 2cents

Hahaha!!! Don't worry, you ain't the only fool. Right when I seen hapaboy post up that pic of the case that he got from Japan....I was like......"I gotta have one!!!" Called my aunt in Japan and within a couple of weeks it was at my front door. Luckily I got it as a present. So the case was free.
As for everybody saying that its way too expensive.....I totally agree. It is a nice case though and it does keep your fob from getting scratched up. I'm not sure if this will be the same exact one, but the case has some etching on the back where your unlock, lock, and trunk button(seems to not have the panic etched) would be so you wouldn't need to really take the fob out of the case. Also the trunk button that is made on the case seems to be made too close to the panic button, so you may accidentally press the panic button(if you ever try to use that button).

The BMW leather key fob is $14 shipped. (MSRP $12, $9.60 at Mileone)

Overpriced
I don't use a key fob at all. I got tired of the plastic part on the included key fob and I didn't want to pay $20 for the all leather one.
Without a key fob it looks better IMO, also thinner and lighter - which works for me since it's the only "key" I carry. Never had a problem with accidentally hitting a button and not worried about beating it up since I have a spare which I will protect if ever use it.
With that said I can't justify spending nearly $100, maybe $40-$50 max, for this key fob even if it's JDM. The IS-F one is nice, but it'll cost more and I don't have own one anyways.
I'd rather put that $$$ towards actual car parts.
