You should have some cloth to protect the paint. Also don't be affraid, you will not break the mirror.
Could you please take another straight-up picture of this white plastic piece that holds the mirror? I just want to make sure I know how they snap in, so I can ply them out without worry that I may break something. BTW, is there a same wire (color) on the other side - passenger side as well. Greatly appreciate it!
Yes, they are the same for both sides
maybe you don't even need a flat screw driver, just tilt it all the way up and pull the bottom part of the mirror, it will come out.
wow great pics!!! now i'm all ready to install it when it comes. just bummed out now since i got bumped last week and have to spend another 300 on fixing it. kinda lost all motivation to do this
XprincoX, nicely done...it looks hot now...let me know when you have your Lexon roof spoiler done...I'm going to for the same thing...I'm not sure if it will hold properly with the provided 3M tape I'm afraid that it will fall out when you drive over 70...I hate the fact that you can't drill becuase is on the top....well let see what can be done
are you planing to just use the provided 3M tapes on the spoiler or you are going to add glue? I'm not sure whether the 3M tapes will hold it safely when you drive
just ordered them...should be arriving in 3 weeks time...any1 in socal ever DIY the mirrors themselves?
Spending $100 on professional installation seems alot. Yikes....
PM Javy and I am sure he will help you out He installed his after I convinced him not to pay someone to do it. I think he had a few other members locally (where ever that is) help out also. You have 3/4 of this site in your backyard so I am sure someone can/will help you out
