Hi guys.
I just got this car, and I have 2 problems.
1) I made an mp3 cd and it worked fine. Then I added more songs to the same cd (multisession disc) and put it in but it still only played the original songs. It didn't recognize the new ones. Does this happen to anyone else? I used to always add songs later with other decks.
2) I put it on random, but when I skip songs it's not random at all. It just goes to the next song, like from 15 to 16. Does anyone else have this problem?
Thanks!

no clue about your first question. if you listen to the whole track the next track will be random or you can press random twice and it'll go to the next random track. it does suck that you cant just press 'next' for a random track.
Congrats on your new purchase!!!

i'm not sure if the IS reads CD-RW discs but if it does you should get one of those. adding tracks to an open CD-R doesn't work with the IS. i know because i've tried. i personally just plug in an ipod though if a CD-RW works, i'll get on that. in fact i'm going to go try it today

(Sorry for bringing back old thread)
I suppose the CD Player is the same as the 2008 GS350?
OP's #1 doesn't work for me either. I had to reburn a CD. I have yet to try CDRW, but my guess is it works? I wasn't sure if the GS350 could play CDRWs. (Note I don't have the premium sound system)
