Default Waxed car today for the second time...

and something just isn't exciting me with this process like my other cars have. I can't put my finger on it, but maybe it's the light color not showing the glory of a fresh wax. When I waxed my black car and stepped away to view it after, I knew my work would go noticed on the road. But now I'm like hrmmm.. lol Well, at least it's protected for another four months. Sorry, just talking out loud here tonight. Carry on.

I think I know what you mean. Try a 'ultimate' quick detailer spray by meg's after you wax, I found that the paint has a more glossy look. Then use the detailer spray after each time you wash your car, it will bring back that look. I have TP and for a while I had similar feelings, then I tried the detailer spray and it made a significant difference.

might want to look into polymer sealant...lasts longer and fills up surface scratches for a more showroom look

Default Polishing?

Are you polishing before you wax?

Should help, although it's tough to beat the finish on a properly polished and waxed black vehicle.

That Meguiar's Ultimate Detail Spray is great!! I use it at least once a week. Keeps the car looking shiney and new.

There are no stupid questions!
Yeah, you wash first, dry it completely, then wax it (in the shade). You can get a wax that has a cleaner in it, so you don't have to polish and wax seperately. McGuires has gotten me by very nicely over the decades. They do a Cleaner-Wax or a Wax. If you wax often enough and keep ontop of things, you don't need to use the Cleaner-wax. If you want more details, email me.

No no no guys you got it all wrong! lol

First you wash the car with microfiber cloths, then you claybar the car to remove contaminants on the paint, after that you hit it with a Porter Cable and some Menzerna Super Intensive Polish, then step it down to 106FF after that use Final Polish II, and a nice two coats of wax, now we're talking business

Hehe, those are my steps whenever swirls decide to appear.
