Thanks
I live in Queens Ny and work in NYC so I take the train to work so the 10K miles isn't that big a deal. I had a G35 Coupe for 4 years and sold it a few weeks ago with 22K miles on it. I am glad that I did not sign a deal as the more I read the more I realize the down payment is way too high. Based on the #'s you guys have told me it is all working out to about 18-19G when all is said and done at the end of the 36 month lease. As they lied to me and did not have my car in stock I am fairly confident I can get the monthly payments down to 345/month which is only a $500 savings but that is with 4955 down.
I think I am going to look at the new Altima Coupe as they seem to be really cheap and with the 09's coming in they have to move them.

I found out yesterday that Lexus has decreased the MF on their IS leases. AT least the 12k/yr lease. The latest MF on a 3yr 12k lease is .0006 (down from .00095). Also don't forget that Lexus offers a mult security deposit rate reduction. For each SD you leave (a SD=1 month lease payment) they will decrease the MF by a certain amt. It used to be .00007 for each deposit, but I'm not sure what it is now. You can leave up to 9 deposits effectively decreasing the MF by .00063. According to my math, that's about a 10% rate of return.

Wow. That is a better deal. I have been barganing with them and have gotten the monthly price down to 329 but I am still leaving 4900 down. I am going to call that Lexus. I would def do that.
The 09's are coming in and they need to move the 08's. That what I was hoping for.

Must be a standard offering at every dealer in the NE region, anyway.
2.9% financing for 48 months too.
