Default I think my stock IS350 tires will last 30k+ miles

Checked my tires today as I just hit 22k miles on my 2007 IS350... It came with Dunlop Sport Maxx 18"... Front tires have about 40-50% tread life left, rear tires have about 70% tread left... I can easily go to 30k miles, and probably even close to 40k on the rears...

I guess these tires have a good (240) treadwear rating, and they appear to be holding up even better than expected... Pleasant surprise Anyone else have such good luck with their dunlops?

not dunlops, but my crappy oem bridgestone turanzas are going on 31k. rear tire treads look almost new, front tires have about 2mm tread everywhere except the inside. inside is almost bald. i was hoping the tires would last until the end of the year, but it doesn't seem like it will.

i drive about 90% freeway.

Great news... I was expecting 15-18k from summer-only tires, so this is a pleasant surprise

This is both good and bad for me. Good that I can squeeze more miles from my stock Bridgestone RE50s. Bad because I decided to wait until I wear out the stock tires before I get new wheels/tires and since I'm only at 12k now it means more waiting. I need to figure out a different plan.

That's simple. Sell me your wheels+tires and you can get your new wheels.

I'm jealous! I thought my tread was fine until my car was on a lift recently (at 15k miles). The insides of ALL the tires is worn. The negative camber on the car has killed my tires. I would like to get an alignment to preserve them a little longer, but they are pretty close to needing replacement, espec. the fronts

I've been researching on Tirerack.com and I'm strongly thinking about getting the Sumitomo HTR Z III tires, because they have high ratings and save a LOT of $$$. If I have to replace them every 15k, I might as well, right?

My fronts had the cords showing on the inner treads at 25K, the rears are still going at 35K. I've tried toe-in and toe-out on the fronts and nothing will stop them from wearing the inner tread on the fronts

Quick Reply: I think my stock IS350 tires will last 30k+ miles
