Fuel economy for 250MT
I know that there are previous posts on fuel economy but most people don't post whether they drive MT or AT
MT supposedly uses almost 20% more gas. Just wondering what you MT drivers are getting.
Thanks.

When I had my IS250M, I got about 13-14 MPG, per the car's "tank average."
That was with 100% city driving in the city of San Francisco, with an average speed around 11-12 MPH, starts at about 1200-1500 RPM, shifts at between 3000-4000 RPM, upwards of 50 stoplights on my daily commute, and lots of stopping and starting in general. I think that probably represented one of the more extreme daily driving experiences.
On the very rare occasions when I left the City, I would do much better. My record was 31 MPG on a two-hour freeway trip.

9.4 L/100 KM or about 25 MPG with 95% city driving.
80% of my starts are in 2nd gear and I avoid hard acceleration, (usually keep my needle under 1500rpm when cruising). I usually skip the 4th and 5th gear and let it cruise in 6th.
