Default iJDMToy 6500k HID D4C's

Hi!

i just got a shipment of D4C bulbs from ijdmtoy...and i've been reading around that it melts the ballasts?

i was wondering if this is true...because i dont really want to go through that...did anyone, who ordered these before in a package that came in a box with a see-through top half and a stickered bottom part with "JDM" on the bottom left and "HID BULBS" on the bottom right, have any problems with the 6000k/6500k bulbs?

the package i have looks like this:

i've searched through every thread that kind of delt with this and it seemed like only the 8000k had problems...but i just want to make sure that the people with the 6000k had the same package as me (since iJDMToy now sells a different package on their site and i got this off their ebay store)...if it's not worth it...i might as well try to pawn this package off and get a quality set.. =T also, the members who talked about their 6000k's didn't say which package they got..i just want to make sure =)

please, for all members with these bulbs, post your experiences with them (good/bad)

edit: please state along with your experience which bulbs you had (6500k or 8000k)

thanks!

I also got D4C bulbs from Xenon Depot and they are reputable vendor here on CL so I don't think they would give bulbs that would do damage. It depends on the company I guess.

there's an IS-F owner on this board that bought a set of GaraX d4s bulbs for his car and they're working fine. i'm not sure if iJDMtoy has garax bulbs or not though. they do have a picture of the garax boxes and are supposedly made by karamoto which produces the garax bulbs.

I do not have these bulbs but Steve from Xenon Depot is great and the bulbs work like a charm! I would send them back or sell if others are having problems and hit up Steve.

I have 6K bulbs from them and they've been working great the past 2 months. The 6k bulbs are made by Garax in Japan (and come in that packaging). I'm not sure if the 6500k bulbs are made by Garax though since the packaging is different as well as the look of the bulb. They look like re-based D2 bulbs, not D4. I could be wrong, however.

Just put them on. If they don't melt your harness and the color is true, that's great! If not, put their customer service to the test.
