If so how much was the labor? I want to buy the parts at sewells and have the stealership install them. Just need some bargining prices that I can go by.

New to the forum but my experience with Mercedes was simaler, so I looked up the time specs on what ever i was getting done on all data and if they were higher than what the service manager said I would say that i am going to call mb of usa and that always changes it. hehe

Hmm...good idea. I'll give that a try when I'm ready to do so.

Every dealership is different. I called around when I was thinking about doing this and got crazy numbers like $1500 to $1000 for F Springs and F Shocks. Since the parts were relatively new, most dealerships never installed them. I eventually found a dealership that was willing to price match with Sewell on the parts and because of that give me a discount on the labor. Labor is always negotiable. Since this is not a required service you can use that as a bargaining chip. I would call around the dealerships in your area and see what they can do for you. Then play them off one another to get the best price.

I was able to get my F Shocks and F Springs installed for $650. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
