Where to buy OEM oil filter??
I know that #1 answer would be dealer but today they are close (sunday).
Any auto parts that carries OEM oil filters???

go to autozone and get a bigger than oem filter, trust me. dont get anything from fram, mobil 1 makes the best imo.

Huh?!? Our cars have a canister filter, we only replace the paper element, not the whole filter. Bigger than OEM isn't going to fit.

my mistake i am speeking from experience on my other cars havent done an oil change on my is but still autozone should have a cartrage replacement

Autozone sells SPT filters that fit our cars.

I was about to say that...but they sell it for around $6.50 according to their website. I can get an OEM for under $5. Just an FYI.

There is a place called irontoad where I get it from. Its about 5 bucks which is better than a dealership

Are you saying you can get a Lexus filter for $5 for a IS? if so where??
My last oil change I got my filter from AutoZone, they stock it & I think it was STP. I think it did not come with the O-ring

List price is $5.41, though it's not unusual for dealers to charge more than MSRP.

When I bought filters from the dealer I think they charged either 4.99 or 5.99 - I cant remember exactly and cant find the receipt.

I bought a box of 10. $4.43 each and a lot fewer trips for oil filters.
