XenonDepot Phillips Kit: drivers side problems
Sometimes when I turn on my headlights the drivers side won't come on and sometimes it will. By digging through CL I noticed alot of others have this problem, especially the drivers side.
I have an XD Phillips kit in my IS250 intalled with relay harness for a year and a half now without any problems until this past weekend. I had a buddy with alot of experience in audio systems install the kit and he did a very professional job.
Has anybody else had this problem or know anyone with the same issue, and what was done to remedy it? I suspect it may be the ballast, but the harness as well as connectors are also suspects.
Thanks in advance for any input.

might be a defective bulb. many people replace the bulbs and have no problem afterwards.
of course each case could possibly be different. your best bet is to try different things to figure out what's causing this problem. try switching the bulbs around from left to right or the entire ballast around to see if it's still having the same problem. by doing them individually you'll see what's causing the problem. generally speaking, relay harnesses aren't needed either way as there's enough current going through to power the bulbs so that should be the least of your worries. once you've found the specific problem you can simply replace that part and you'll be all set
