You can't make a v6 sound like a v8. It's just not possible. You just wind up with a v6 that sounds like it's trying too hard. You can, however, make a great sounding v6, so I'd suggest that instead.

Did that.... told several hours.. not good enough..

Anyone installed the F-Sport intake ? Can you tell me how much similar its sounds to the IS-F? I have my IS 350 up for sale right now.. so I can upgrade to the IS-F.. but I might reconsider...

To me, the 350 with f-sport intake at wot sounds quite similar to the IS-F at heavy throttle. Maybe not quite as loud and deep, because like 509 said, a 6 cyl and 8 cyl always sound different. But, it's definitely close

BTW, my experience: I have a 350 with f-sport intake, and I've flogged the IS-F for a few hours at the Taste of Lexus performance driving academy.

i agree with Mikes, f sport intake and f sport exhaust will satisfy your sound needs.

I'm casting my vote for the megan racing exhaust and injen intake, but then again that's what I have so I'm a little biased.

The IS-F will definitely sound different than an IS350 with the f-sport stuff.

IMO, the V6 or inline-6 sound amazing. I think the only V8s that sound good are the Audi and Ferrari V8s everything else sound like crap.

Well,

Just brought the F-Sport Intake... will install this weekend and report back.. hopes it's easier than install the sport pedals.. that thing took me 3 hours instead of 1 hour.

I went a different route then the norm on this forum. I put Magnaflow mufflers and cut out the resinator and cat convertor and my IS250 sounds so much deeper. I like it because it's not real loud until WOT but still has an amazing purr.

Im sorry but this is kind of a dumb question IMO, how could anyone expect to make a V6 sound like a V8? No offense, but its just not possible, even with an intake or exhaust, doesn't matter what brand it is. Unless they sell V8 intakes?

And BTW this is f'ing hilarious!!!
