Default n00b. Fresh Meat. Get him!

Well this isn't my first post, I've been snooping around and asking for help here for awhile. But it is my first post as a Lexus owner. I planned on picking up a used IS350 and posted a few questions about them a week or two ago. Player1 kind of talked me out of the used and I broke down and decided to go brand new.

After dealing for a few days with the Dealer, I settled on the Obsidian IS350 with Black Leather (perforated) Interior. It has the NAV and Sport Package and headlight washers, rain sensing wipers, cargo net, rear mat, VDIM, etc etc. but most of all.. its just hawt. Let the mods begin.

Speaking of mods: I've done quite a bit of modding in my life. I started back before the Fast and Furious craze with a Celica.

after that I sold the Celica and bought a Subaru Legacy GT. It was one sweet *** car. I decided after 4 years to part with the subaru and buy a Lexus. I'm giving up a bit of performance for some luxury.

I also started a site called teamcelica.com and that grew into a huge owners group, where I made TONS of friends and worked on a hell of alot of cars. I probably put lowering springs on over 30 Celica's. not to mention engine swaps and baking dozens of sets of headlights.. etc. I've built numerous stereo systems for people and im currently building a seriously badass (750hp) 1965 GTO. I cut, I weld, I paint, I wire, I powdercoat.. and I've built and run several Car enthusiast websites... etc. so I hope to contribute to this community as I have to the others.

Planned mods:
Tint
Front lip
CF Interior kit
Rear deck spoiler (oem style)
Exhaust and midpipe (TBD)
Springs (either Eibach or TEIN S-Tech)
powdercoat calipers
maybe slotted rotors.
several light/led changes.
Ipod integration

and the most important... NAV HACK. I guess I'll be cutting up my wiring sometime soon.

Huh Am I missing something here? A 2005-ish Legacy GT is 250HP, 0-60 in 5.8. Downgrade???

Welcome to Club Lexus Tronix and congrats!

PS my first car was a 1973 Firebird Formula into which I dropped a built 389 cid tripower motor from a 65 GTO The guy who sold it to me built a crazy 421 and put it in the goat.

I dont have any recent pics.. but im running wiring right now. Here are some old buildup pics and you can see where it came from...
