Default Here is your chance for Lexus to hear your opinions!

In a few weeks I'll be attending a meeting with the chief designer and chief engineer of the IS model who are surveying a select group of consumers about things they can do to improve the IS model. Who knows, maybe our voice could make a difference! Let me hear what changes you would like made to the IS. What could be improved? What could be done without?

So far I have:

1. Manual transmission option on ISF and 350
2. Adjustable side bolsters/thigh bolsters
3. AWD on 350
4. Build quality
5. Open ECU up for aftermarket tuning
6. Real TPS system
7. Remote start
8. Window roll up via key fob
9. More gauges (Voltage, Oil Pres., Oil Life)
10. Real paddle shifters/rev matching
11. More features such as real time traffic and no restrictions on Nav
12. Level ride height
13. More color combos and wheel options/model specific wheel styles
14. More power for 250
15. Cooled, not vented seats
16. Real iPod interface
17. Steering response
18. Headunit w/hard disk storage
19. Redesign center console for better access/cup holder usage
20. Better clutch/manual transmission for 250
21. Chip resistant paint
22. Standard HID's
23. Serious power adders for F-Sport line
24. Bluetooth without Nav
25. Real LSD

Please offer a real manual tranny with the highest horsepower motor, so you wouldn't lose some our sales to M3/M5s

Adjustable side bolsters. That is my single greatest complaint about the car. I slide in the seat when going around corners. I love everything else about the car.

Ask them to address the pathetic build quality regarding the squeeks, creeks and rattles that plague the IS

Manual ain't gonna happen for a massive list of reasons... AWD neither as it'd hurt performance and cut into GS sales too.

Absolutely on the side bolsters though

Other things I'd like to see-

Cooled seats (actually cooled, like caddys have, not vented)

While on the topic of GM cars, how bout displaying individual tire pressures like even GM cars have for years instead of just a light that says "One of em is low!"

And speaking of low, how bout oil and volt gauges.

Bring the IS-F shifting logic to the ISx50 (hold any gear, insta-shifts, etc)

2 words- REMOTE START.

Speaking of the remote- it can open the windows and sunroof- let it close them too...it can do it everywhere but he US market and I haven't heard of it killing anyone overseas.

Play MP3s from DVD. Include a DVD changer in the non-nav ML system when you do that.

Speaking of electronics, how bout a nav system that isn't from the 1990s? Realtime traffic for example... how bout not pricing it 10 times more than a better-featured Garmin?

I'm sure I'll think of more later, that should be a good start though.

Here are my requests:

1. no restrictions on navi when driving (I have an Acura and the navi is great)
2. remote start (very cool feature)
3. bring the jdm goodies here (How come only the Japanese market get to have fun and cool stuff?)
