New 2008 IS250 AWD Owner!!!
Hi everyone,
I'm a new 2008 IS250 AWD owner. Black/black with Navigation. Rear Spoiler
Its pretty much stock for now. The only things I've done are
Black CF Overlay over OEM Wood
Red taillight overlay
Chrome trunk trim
35% Tint (MA state legal limit)
Painted my engine cover silver
Painted the rest of my engine covers glossy black (...that's what happens when you're incredibly bored on a Saturday morning with spray paints)
Changed my puddle lamp bulbs to hyper whites
White Illuminated Door Sills
LED Side View Mirror Blinkers
Aluminum Pedals
That's about it. Probably just going to do the F-Sport Springs, change to IS350 wheels, and do the GFX body kit and maybe do the S2000 exhaust tips at that time. Trying to keep it pretty much OEM or stock.
My car history? I came from a 2006 Supercharged G35 coupe 5AT. That car was heavily modified from suspension, engine, exhaust, body kit, etc. Superfast and superfun...390whp is what I ended up with. But as I got older the car got old...and I needed something more pratical and with gas prices nowadays...can't ask for a better AWD Sedan.
I had a 2004 Audi S4 with the V8...great car. 03 BMW Z4 3.0i. 03 Lexus SC430. 06 Infiniti M35x. 02 Infiniti G20. I'd have to say though...this IS is probably the most comfortable of all those cars...all around quietness, ease of drive.
Well I look forward to being a member of the boards!!! **Don't worry, I'll use the search button as much as I can** The G35 forums were unbelievable and I didn't know what to expect coming to this forum for the IS (the SC forum is kind of ... quiet?) But so far, its been great!

Don't know that I've seen an IS250 engine cover painted. You know they are different than the IS350's cover. Looking forward to the pics.
Welcome, fellow AWD'er! I really enjoyed the confident driving in snow, just about like regular driving.

Yeh I saw that the IS350 had the silver covers and I had a can of Metallic Silver paint lying around the house so I figured I'd just try...looks much better!!! Free mod for me!!! IF you buy a can of spray paint then its a $4.00 mod.

hahaha well considering I have no suspension mods, no body kit, no wheels...I consider it pretty much stock. I guess there are different levels of modification.
We should be hitting a stretch of nice weather in a few days. I'll clean and take pictures then. Its been raining like every other day here.
WTF is with the brake dust though???? Insane!!!
