Can Thermometer be Calibrated?
The outside temp is consistently reading about 7-8 degrees warmer than it actually is outside.
My Pilot has a way of adjusting it and I was wondering if the IS250 does. I didn't see anything on it in the manual.
Thanks.

Typically,
The sensor is located in the driver front wheel well and often reads hotter when the car is parked and heat is radiated from the blacktop or concrete. As you drive, you will see the temp become more accurate within minutes. There is no way to adjust this ambient temp sensor on the 2gen that I know of.

That is odd that the reading becomes higher after driving unless the ambient temp increases relatively fast (unlikely). I would possibly have the dealer inspect the temp sensor.

the thermometer is located behind the front bumper underneath the metal support beam and in front of the radiator. did you have any body work done to the front where they had to take off the thermometer? when i got work done, the bodyshop failed to reinstall the thermometer on its holder and just left it dangling. i was wondering why the temp was reading 104 degrees in december while my car was parked in a parking structure...
