I believe in CA it is 70% in the front to be legal...read it online...will search for the website a post a link....gives info on all states.

really? dam this suxz ill b on the 101 this weekend thanxz 4 the heads up, ill be careful .. weird ive been pulled over b4 and no1 has ever told me anything about my tint or front plate i guess im lucky

What a nice ride. I always went with 35% on all of my cars and had been lucky. If I ever drove in a questionable town where police are strict on tint laws, I would open up the sunroof headliner slide portion to allow more light in the interior and thus, lighten up the tint. Works like a charm (LOL).
