Hmm.. Im really liking the new Nitto INVO tires. They make a 235/35R19 (they dont make a 225/35).. They also have a 275/30 and a 275/35 for the rear.. im confused as to which i should go with (if i decide to go this route). Mike, you said you ran 275/35's, and they look good and have a slight strech it looks like. The 275/35 is closer to the stock rear tire height than a 255/35. Im really confused.. im about to just order the recommended sizes that Lexus said.

255/40/18 is equal in diameter to 255/35/19. The 275/35 is 0.6" taller. I say order what Lexus recommends and stop being confused.

lol, thanks Eric I guess i read them wrong. I have decided to order the recommended sizes. Now im just stuck between brands. Im trying to stay cheap (yea i know.. ). Im stuck between the Kumho Ecsta SPT for $650 shipped, or the Goodyear Eagle F1's for $790 shipped... I liked the BFG G-Force tires, but they are about $950 shipped. All from tirerack.com... Opinions?

SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY FOR THE GOODYEARS. The difference between the F1's and the Kumho's is gargantuan. F1's are excellent tires. The G-force's look cool, but they're pretty loud.

I agree the goodyears are better. I had them on my GS400.. they just wore out quickly. I went ahead and ordered the goodyears though. 225/35 and 255/35. Cant wait to get them on the car! Thanks for all the help guys..

I would go with the 275/35 and yes they are close to the stock...its just slightly over the stock size...the other is smaller if you check. mine was stretched ever so slightly but you are not running as wide of a rim so it will be dead on and look perfect. I don't like stretched tires. I would have gone 285 if I could have pushed it more Tires is all preference...the better, more expensive ones will wear quicker (if you are getting performance tires)....I know they are not cheap at all but the PS2 tires where quiet and great. Unless you are beating the **** out of the car all the time you will get good tread life out of them and more then they tell you that you can Its all preference as to the "look" that you want! both tires will work and as you mentioned some tires wont come in either size....I noticed this when getting the fronts and it just pushed me more to get the PS2 tires.

The only negative is that a set of PS2's will cost him almost twice as much as the Goodyears, which are every bit as good as the Michelins.

Best bang for the buck is the Sumitumo HTR ZIII. They make a 275/30R19 for $233/ea.

Sumitumo makes the brakes for these cars and make a lot of electrical components for most japanese auto manufacturers.
