I was wondering if any of you guys have used mighty putty to seal the hole that u made when drilling into your dust cap when installing a HID kit. I had about a 1/5 inch gap which i sealed with mighty putty, think I will run into moisture problems?

The person who installed my HIDs used that putty stuff too. No condensation so far and I've had them on since... February 2006.

From what I hear, Might Putty is useless. Try reading some online reviews about it, everyone says it's pure crap.

Opps, I wasn't very clear in my post... I meant that the person who installed my HIDs used a similar sort of putty. I don't think it was Mighty Putty but a different brand? It was just some sorta black, tar thing that he just slapped on.

Just use black silicone chaulk.
