Really? It looked like LED white to me when I was installing it on a friends car. Either that or I'm blind lol.

the white lights up differently too. looks like it floating.

I ordered the rear non-lit for the back because i like uniformity. But Little E is right if no one sits in the back.

How did you remove the scuff plate? I tried to pry them from the very ends and the thin sheet metal starting to bubble upwards from the screwdriver. I didn't want to damage them anymore so I stopped. Do you pry on the long side near the ends?

Do you know if the Lexus nameplate has the color, or is the bulb blue or white? My 07 RX350 has an off-white color and I wanted to determine if I have to purchase a blue Lexus scuff plate or if I can change the bulb to a blue LED. Do you know if the bulb can be changed?

just pull the entire plate inlcuding the black surrounds and pull hard up wards. it will pop right off. just connect the wires and push it back into place. im almost for sure this is the easiest modification you can do for your car, except for maybe changing the license plate frame or putting on registratrion sticker. i think the light in the scuff plates are LED's already, if they aren't it probably wont be too easy to swap the bulb.

I did mine about a month ago. Grab the sill on the inside part, near the back. There's a lil kinda cutout. I started to pull from there and worked to the back, then front. When you get to the ends, put your free hand on the moulding thats not coming off. It'll make it easier to remove the sill and not f-up the part thats staying

Yes, but it requires wire splicing, as opposed to just plugging it in

I received my white sills today, ripped off the old ones, plugged in the new ones, and checked my overhead "door" switch; however, they wont come on. it's an '06 and I had the white connectors under the old plates.

Is there some sort of sensor that only lets them come on at night? Fuse? I'll probably take a multimeter to the connector to see if there's juice, but I just wanted to see if there was something I'm missing....

I just installed mine yesterday... It IS white LED color. Very easy install in my 09 250, took no more than 10 minutes to do both sides.
