Hey guys...i LOVE asking for help here because you guys are so great!

Heres my question...should i wait to buy an 08 IS later in the month of September? Or should i just get it during the Lexus Event??!

The reason I want to wait is because i want to see the 2009 in person...but im scared if i do wait until AFTER the lexus EVENT i might get screwed....like they may not have great deals? or may not even have the car!!

HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

I think no matter what, your still going to get a good deal cause they should be trying to get rid of all their 08's, got my sgm is350 Xpac/Nav/ML for 42 OTD a month ago. Correct me if im wrong anyone

The 08 and 09 are not that far apart in way of options if you can get the 08 cheaper with the event...do it!!! the body is the same

 

I would wait till the 2009s start showing up on the lots. Since there are a lot of changes to the 09s, it will be harder to sell the 08s. You should be able to get a rockin deal on an 08.

I'd hang on until the 09's were out the only problem might be finding the EXACT car you want. (Colors, options, etc.) BTW what is the "Lexus Event"? I've always heard their "Events" were bogus like the december to remember "event"

Wait until the 09s come out. It will only be a few more weeks. Who knows? You might like the 09 better with the little minor changes. If you still want an 08 after seeing the 09, the dealership will probably give you one for a smokin' deal.

 

wait on 09...then make them a deal for the price of 08...it might work... they need to make a sell.....

I'd wait for 09, regardless the 08s will be cheaper cause everyones going to want the 09s IMO. And plus I always want the new ish!

 

if i can find an 08 with the color and options that I want + much better deal, i'll go for the 08. if not I'll get the 09 since there's not much of a difference between an 08 and 09.

 

If you're after a 350, it's supposedly getting more difficult to track them down. Still a lot of 250s around. I'd say wait for 09s just to confirm awesome or uglies depending on your taste. But be prepared for a tougher time with the 350 purchase.
