IS pricing help
Hi guys,
i'm new here & looking to get an IS over the weekend. so far i'm set for the IS250 loaded with nav, X-pack. what should i be looking at in terms of number? i just start calling around few dealers near me but not sure what i should be expecting. for example, MSRP $39,000 i can get it for $35,000 & OTD will be roughly at $38,000. knowing the 09s are around the corner should i be expecting more discount?? i know that's pretty close to invoice so i'm just wondering if Lexus have some trunk money for dealer to get rid of the car...
i also read someone got a IS350 for 42k OTD & seems like a great deal. not sure if i want to step-up to 350 but does that mean i have more room on the 250 price? does seem like dealer have more 250s than 350s now.
thanks for any help or lead. looking to join the gang this weekend.

I would wait two weeks as the 09's will begin to show up and thus, you can obtain a better deal on an 08, or simply, wait for the December Lexus to Remember sales event and obtain a better deal on an 09 if you can wait.

thanks Brian. too bad waiting doesn't seem like an option for me now. i really need a car starting next week so gotta get it done this weekend. i agree waiting for 09 is a better move plus i can see what's new on the car to make the decision but timing sucks... look at the brighter side at least i can join the group sooner.
