hid?

if i have the factory hid. and i want to upgrade to a brighter like 6k. would i have to change the ballast too or could i just buy the bulb and switch it. kind of a stupid question. but im curious.

this has been discussed many times and there is a DIY for both the headlights and fogs... just search and you should find it pretty easily.

change the bulb will do...but 6K is NOT brighter.....

Hey 1tym,

Yeah, all you need to do is to switch out your bulbs like everyone else is saying. No need to change the ballasts. Here are the pics of my install that I just did last week:
