I have the bridgestone er33 "summer" and they handle darn good in the rain. I ran them through hell in a parking lot and the rear slipped only once. They have 350 miles on them.

My Es350 Eagles burned through them in 11000 and they truly sucked. I replaced them with Michelins. Great choice.

One time I went around a corner too fast in the rain, and it scared the s*!t out of me. Yup...stockies suck in the rain.

Default I had the Bridgestone Potenza ER33's changed out

on my IS350 right after I bought it. I have Michelin Pilot Sport All Seasons on there now and they will have to be way better. I have driven regular Pilot Sport Summer Tires on BMW's for years, in dry or rainiy weather, and they work almost the same in either weather condition.
In the Northwest however, I would only consider an All Season Performance Tire if possible.. Where it snows, you should consider a set of wheels with snow tires to change out. Around here, alot of people put on studded tires in Nov - Feb, but I will never need to go to that extreme.
Good luck with your project. DanF

Default Forgot 1 thing here -

Probably the best All Season Tire I haver ever tried is the new Bridgestone Potenza RE960 A/S Pole Position. Just put a set of these on our BMW 540iT with M5 wheels, and they are absolutely awesome. Way quieter, seem to be stickier, and dont tramline like the Pilot Sports I took off.

Only reason I didnt put these on the new IS350 was because they didnt make both of the sizes for the staggered size 18" wheels on the IS350.

If you dont have staggered sizes and they make your size, I would seriously consider a set of these bad boys. You wont be disappointed.. DanF

I would say to hope and pray that Nokian comes out with a staggered setup. This is the best tire I have used, all season, summer and winter. It's like magic. These people understand tires and they wear very slowly.

I've had RE050A PP for the last 24k miles. They work fine in the rain, even under aggressive throttle as long as you recognize what happens to the friction circle in the wet.

I can confirm that Bridgestone Potenza RE960 A/S Pole Position work well. I've had them on for a year now through Washington rain and never have to slow like I used to with the stock dunlop summer tires.
