Default Question On PIAA 8000K HB Blubs

These are the correct bulbs for my IS250 foglights?

I run a 8000k XeonDepot HID Kit and vled blue leds for my city lights.

Anyone think this is a good price for these blubs?

Anyone else have them?

any other comments , ideas would be great!

Yes that is the correct bulb for your foglights. The price for these bulbs could be found cheaper maybe near $50-60 range. Considering these are PIAA bulbs which are high quality so the current price isn't that bad. If I were you though, I'd save up and just get an 8000k HID kit for your fogs. If you get the kit from xenondepot again, it'll match better. Plus the warranty will be better considering ebay seller warranties are exactly reliable all the time. Plus HID's usually last longer than halogen bulbs It's better =] But if you must, these are good bulbs.

I found installing it was rather annoying. Plus hiding the wires and putting the balast in good spot was not super easy, the thought of having 4 of them in my car is a little ...

I figured the best alternative would be these bulbs?

Where would I find them cheaper?

it may be more of a pain to install the HID's, but they do last longer and will be a closer match with respect to the color. i say save up and get the same kit you have in your low beams.

I'd definitely run an HID kit in your fogs, its really easy and you have plenty of room behind your support beam to hide the ballast. I have a DYI here if you look for it in the stickies

PIAA bulbs are nice, but they do not last long and are expensive. I would definitley do an HID fog kit. Halogen bulbs are not zenon bulbs, don't let the package fool you.

are you asking what color to go with?? if you want to match your headlights i recommend getting the same kit for both low beams and fogs. if you want to get maximum visibility at night and in inclimate weather - go with a 3k bulb or HID kit as these reflect less off of rain and fog etc.
