Your motors are loud? Are you sure it's not the wipers that are dragging along the windshield that you're noticing?

i don't think so because they are gliding not dragging. sounds more like the motor to me.

try to figure out if it really is your wiper motors. they should be really quiet in fact when i use mine, i hear almost nothing except maybe when they stop to back the other way. the motor should be heard. if it is the motor, go back to the dealer and have them replace it since the motor could be faulty

never occurs to me and never heard about it. since u said the wipers are 'gliding' smoothly, then the sound must be from somewhere else. are u sure it's the motors? best thing to do is to go to the dealers, i believe it's covered under the warranty.

I had never noticed mine before, but...Today I set them to full speed and could hear the motor making a "whirling" noise. It had been raining some, so the wipers were "lubricated". Other then full speed I couldn't hear anything. Like I said I never noticed it before. I normally have my wipers set to auto, and maybe any other times the wipers got up to full speed it was raining too hard to hear the wiper motor.

well it's been raining so hard here in orlando that even sitting at a light i have had the wipers on full blast so that's when i noticed it. i will have the dealer look at it when it chills out a little here in fl. all that matters is that they are working at this point.

I know what you are talking about!

mine became loud too over the winter, I guess maybe they became loud because the heavy loads of snow that were on the window.

anyways I took it to the dealer and the fixed it under warranty.

I had to sit in another one to hear the difference actually.

I've used mine enough to know if they make noise? Best bet is to take it to the dealer, and hopefully they'll fix the problem. I hope the storm calms down for all of you in Florida. Good Luck!
