what does the dealership cover?
So I got in my car tonight to find my tire pressure was low.
This is the second time it's happened. The first time, I don't know WHAT went wrong, but all my tires were at 20psi. I filled them all up with air and haven't had problems since. This was probably in Feb or March.
Tonight I find a nail in one of my tires. Would the dealership cover something like this?

the tires are only covered by lexus under warranty if you got the road hazard protection warranty. if you did not buy this, you will have to pay for the tires yourself which is in the upwards of $200+ each. i'm assuming your tires are still new-ish. you're pretty much going to have to suck it up and pay for it unless the hole is fixable and safe afterwards.
my recommendation is to get a new tire for now and when they wear out, go out and buy tires from a tire franchise store like townfaire tire. although i don't like the tires townfaire has, they offer great service around here. my cousin who also drives an is250 awd bought a set of toyos from there. 1 tire blew out and 2 others had uneven wear/premature wear. townfaire replaced all 3 at no charge and there was no "warranty" to buy for that coverage.
of course if you really have the money, invest in some high quality tires and buy the warranty. it'll be a hefty initial investment but you'll LOVE the tires and know that if they should blow, you have warranty
i personally blew out one of my stock dunlops and had to replace it. i'll be investing in some snow tires for my stock rims when these are done and getting some 19's with summer tires afterwards
