The tips are part of the kit. Since the rear GFX extends the bumper out, the tips need to be longer.

Thanks Brian, but that lip you saw was installed last year when I just bought the front lip alone. The lip I received with the kti is being stored until my old lip gets wrecked.

The rear lip is getting installed this Friday by a local shop! You boys have done me enough favors. I think I still owe you from the last brake job!

Yeah whoever moved my thread made this confusing. The drive to Mt. Wilson is approx 10-15 miles maybe? Not quite sure. I shoot a D300 with 17-55mm attached to it. I try to wash my car every week.

Got mine, but not at home to inspect. Hopefully it's not damaged. Still need to find a decent installation place.

Quick question, how do I take out the platic tabs on the OEM lip? Do I just force it out without worrying about a possible problem?

you just press down on the lil clip and it should unclip. You'll risk break the tab if you just try to force it without pressing the clip down.

Xprinco is right. There are two parts to the clip. The top hat (cicular plastic piece) and the base. You have to pull the top hat off first, then the whole clip will come out.

Got mine in today. Boxes were good, the front lip one was a little beat up but no scratches thanks to sewell properly packing it. Spent the afternoon putting it on, front and sides. No fitment problems here. Im in San Diego if anyone needs help or has questions. But its very easy.

Thanks, that worked great. Every worked out fine but the fitment isn't entirely perfect and all the clips clicked into place but it still left a little gap on both side. The double sided tape can be seen peeling too.

Are you sure all the clips are locked? Mine were not locked properly and I could see the double sided tape. If you can see the double sided tape, it is not installed properly. The taped portion of the lip should be flush against the bumper. Or maybe the center portion of the lip is pushed back too far. Try adjusting.

Cool! Thanks for the info.! Most likely I'm keeping these until I get tired of my greddy exhaust(soon to come). Peace!
