30day/1k Mile Service Question
Going to own my baby for 30 days , and planning to make an appointment for the complimentary 30day service, which is said to be free on the delivery documentation.
So my first question is do I need to go back to the original dealership where I bought my car? Or I can select a nearer dealer?
The second: since I found my headlight aiming too low so I want to raise them a little bit. I know I can DIY (adjust the lateral and horizontal screws). I tried but I couldn't find a screw driver in my toolbox that is long enough to touch the horizontal one, and I didn't want to drive out and buy another set, so I decide to ask the dealer do it for me.
Can someone recommend a dealership in Houston that can do a beautiful job (that is, they know what they are doing)? I don't want them to screw up my headlights.

i never understood why people take their car in after the first 1000 mile. I mean the car is still brand new, what can they possibly do that will make it perform better... the oil is still brand new, and since it only has 1000 miles chances are you werent gunning it or driving it hard for the first 30 days anyways. I understand you have a legitamite complain about your headlights and I would want to get that fixed as soon as possible....but other people that I heard taking it in after 1k....it just doesnt make sense to me... I took mine in at the 5k just cause I dont like to have the dealership touching it all the time... I mean yeah you can trust the dealership..but they have employees in their that you never know what they can do to your car....when they take it on the test drive to make sure everythings ok..who knows what theyll do..

.....and for them to put your license plates on (including the front plate even if you tell them 500 times before the service not to put it on). I would have them mail your license plates to you; unless you want something done to your car (change settings, get your headlight fixed), I would wait until your 5k service to take it in (that one is free too).

if you're not too particular somebody suggested an independent Lexus specialist in our area, http://www.713mylexus.com/index.htm or we can wait for someone to chime in a good service dealer..
