What a coincidence, I got hit by an odyssey too cept it was in the front.
Feel better man, it will come out brand spanking new, honestly to me, whether or not they replace the bumper or fill the holes and repaint is all the same to me. If your body shop is good, it would come out looking like new and you cant even know the difference from touching or knocking on it

This happens to the best of us and I am confident it will be fixed to your satisfaction. I agree with Vic, now you can have your GFX installed possibly at little to no charge and it will match perectly.

I didn't look in my rearview prior to the collision since I was focusing on the car in front of me since we were approaching a bottleneck in the freeway and I was slowing down. My guess is that the van was not tailgating me but she just wasn't paying attention since she was the only adult in the van with 2 boys in the back.
The only thing I think I could have done was brake sooner to warn the driver behind me. But if they're not paying attention, then I'm just out of luck.

Ouch, that hurts man. I feel your pain.
A good body shop should have that bumper replaced and repainted for you in about 2-3 days. Given the speed she hit you at, and since there doesn't appear to be any damage anywhere except the bumper, you should be have her back in plenty of time for EOS.
Since she hit you, have her insurance take care of the cost and get a brand new bumper, not worth the troubles of trying to fix that one.
