Unhappy N O O O O!!!!!!! Not me....not now!

It was just another day home from work on the freeway and I slow down as I approach a bottle neck and next thing I know...........................................

.........................BOOOOM!!!!

Good thing I didn't install my rear GFX...that's the only thing positive I can think of right now. They were at fault but such bad luck and really bad timing too since I registered my car for EOS and it's just 3 weeks away.

I don't know if my car will be ready by then.....

What a bad timing! Hope the shop can give u a speedy repair. do a search, there a few recommended shops in the area.

It shouldnt be too bad of a fix... if no framing damage hopefully its jsut to have the bumper replaced... if u have framing damage, that might take a few weeks at a regular shop. especially when u ahve to deal with insurance.

maybe flipside909 will read this and maybe he can tell u what kind of damage ur car took... or u know already..

goodluck

That sucks dude. Hopefully all you'll need is a new bumper then you're good to go. Make sure you choose a highly recommended shop.

Sorry to hear! Now you can have the body shop put the GFX lip on and color match it.

sorry to hear that! same thing happened to me. Got hit by an uninsured teenage mother of two.

Hope you get your car out quick so we can see further progress on your car!

Thanks everyone. Now that the shock is somewhat over, I feel a lil better. I guess it can always be worse.

CthruIS350, thank you very much for your input. The van was going probably 15 MPH tops at point of impact and from what I see, I don't think there is any framing damage. Some pretty deep scrapes on the left side and you can see that hole which cracked into my bumper.

Questions:
From what you see, do you guys think the current bumper can be resurfaced and painted or will I need a completely new bumper? Should I look for a good body shop or does Lexus dealerships do body work/replacement?

Sory to hear man, you always want new parts put on your ride nothing used your car is an 08 go to a lexus shop if you can if not take to a highend repair shop, our cars deserve the best and it wasn't your fault so i dont see why you should settle for anything less!!! just my .02cents
