Nope, your old sensors are registered as "MAIN" now so when you move them to your snow tires you don't have to do anything about it. The new sensors should be registered as "2ND".

 

awesome, thats great to know -- seeing as now i dont really have to wait for the snow tires to get here before i put the new wheels and tires on....i hope i get time to do it today


neither of you guys have any experience with any of the home scan tools do you? is it possible to register the new tpms sensors myself with a genisys scan tool?

 

nope it can only be done at a dealer or a shop that has a Toyota / Lexus Techstream Lap computer interface
