Glad to hear that your ok!
Your car should be totaled based on the pics i see. 45mph would cause major damage.
1. If there is frame damage which there is a 95% chance
2. Front bumber, front fender, hood, headlights, fog lights
Right there your over $5000 in parts and we havent even started talking about frame damage or painting.
I totaled my 1IS and it never drove the same. Dont take the car back !!
If you financed the car i hope you have GAP insurance.

Fenders hanged and engine put backed together, passenger side profile view. As you may noticed, the interior is still gotted. Also, some of the pix above and in this post has the incorrect date stamp, I guess the shop guy camera setting are not set properly. He took all the pix with date stamp. The last two pix was taken today.

I'm planning to keep the car if it is fixed properly. I also get life time warranty (as long as I own the car) from the shop and Allstate for any related item due to the accident. From the look of things, the car is getting fixed properly. It was on the jig when they where joining the new sturctures to the car. I will make a list for things to check since the car was 85% taken apart. It will probably take me a good 1.5-2 hours to go thru my checklist to make sure everything is Ok before leaving the shop, although the shop will take it to the Lexus dealer late this Friday or early next Monday (which should catch most the electronic items but I will check it anyways).

No, we both had green light. I was going north bound, and he was coming from the south bound lane and making a left to get into freeway on ramp heading east. Since he was making a left, he was suppose to yield and of course he did not.

Glad that both parties were not seriously injured. And there's no need to call the other driver an a-hole. It was an accident and nobody in his right mind would intentionally try to cause an accident. Cars are replaceable; people are not.
Same thing happened to me a couple of months ago but I was the one at fault. Made a left turn at an intersection when I was supposed to yield to oncoming traffic. The car in front of me turned and I wasn't paying attention and got t-boned. Luckily, nobody was hurt.
Looks like your car is coming along nicely. Sucks that the value will be depreciated greatly.
