Default Driver's Seat

I got my IS 350 a few weeks ago. It took me awhile to learn the nav but I am really enjoying the car. The power is great and the handling is pretty good. I really love the car except for one thing. I seem to be having a difficult time getting comfortable in the driver's seat. The thigh bolsters seem very firm and they seem to put alot of pressure on my thighs.

I have adjusted the seats in every conceivable way without much relief. I am hoping the seats "break in" but I have never experienced this in any other car. Anybody else have trouble getting comfortable?

there are some days where i feel ok in the seat, but usually i'm in the same boat as you. no matter how i adjust the seat, i always end up sore and stiff after driving more than 30 minutes. i'm 6'1" 200 lbs, so it might just be my fat butt more than the seat itself.

Hmm i don't find the seat uncomfortable at all especially the thigh bolster. Usually people complain about the lumbar area being uncomfortable or the sides as a matter of fact but this is the first time I've heard anyone complain about the thigh bolsters. Have you tried maybe leaning the back rest back a bit and decreasing the lumbar or low back area or deflating it all the way to decrease the weight on your thighs?

That's an idea: reduce the lumbar to take pressure off my thighs. I've tried everything else, I'll give it a shot. Thanks

oh and another thing maybe lower the seat height all the way and see if that helps as well.

In most cars I max out the lower lumbar support, but realized after a long time that the IS one is in the wrong place for me ( average height & weight)
so deflating that helps and I always put seat as low as it will go, but I never can get it just right.
