I won't say it's too dark. I'll say it's STUPID and DANGEROUS. I have 15% on the sides and rear and 50% and the windshield and thats cutting it close.

Props!!! That looks great! That is almost impossible to do in IL on the front windshield. I had the rest for years and now they are really pushing the tickets now. I had my first one since I have been driving for tints not to long ago. In IL you have to now have a special plate, no more doctors note in the glove box, or its an immediate ticked and they are raising this to around 200$ per ticket and if you get caught on the cameras its another ticket!!!

Is it legal anywhere to have your front windshield tinted?

it is not legal anywhere to have the front windshield tinted. thanks again for all the comments guys. my garage is full of parts and i am excited to get this first mod out of the way. with all of the cars i have modified i seem to take the route. tint, lights, suspension, wheels, kit and lastly exhaust. once you start modding you cant stop.

I agree. The sides and rear are fine, but the front is way too much. I would bet you would not be able to see a person standing in the middle of the road at night. Sorry, but that is reckless.

Looks cool. You certainly won't need to wear sunglasses while driving ever again . Night driving visibility might be a little scary though

I have 10's all around except windshield and have yet to be bothered by law enforcement ( knock on wood ) but 15's on the windshield seems a little dangerous to me , although it does look great .

I couldnt find a tint place around here that would tint my windshield.. even for cash money no receipt. I only wanted to do 70% for the heat reflection
