Staggered wheels on an AWD are fine provided that the tire diameter is the same front and rear (as the poster above said). You need a 255/30x19 tire on the rear to get the same tire diameter as your 225/35x10 on the front:

i just went to the shop today...and they said it won't be a problem..and i ask them to call lexus to ask...and they said it will be a problem if the diameter is over 1" to 2"...and we check the tire that i got..was only 0.8" more than the front so they said it will be ok...
and one important thing that they are not willing to exchange it for me...and i have to pay for new set if i want to change it

or should i get the 225/40/19 for the front...it will only 0.2% too fast...(the front is going 60 and the rear is going 59.9)
because if 255/30/19 for the rear..is going to be 0.7% too fast..(the front is going 60..and the rear is going 59.6)

If the 225/40x10 will fit without fouling the fender or suspension, that should be fine. The front vs rear tire diameter/circumference will be close enough. Your speedometer will be off a little (although most speedometers read about 5% fast anyway so this again shouldn't be a problem). The reason I suggested the 255/30x19 is we know they will fit without any problems.

As it is, with your present tires, if you have any problem with your transmission, Lexus will probably void the warranty and say it was because of the different wheel speeds. You can argue that's the whole point of differentials, but do you really want to have that argument with them?

As far as the tire shop is concerned, they should have known this and told you about it. If the tires are pretty new, I would insist on them replacing either the fronts or the rears. If they don't, file a complaint with the BBB and, if they are a franchise (like discount tire or firestone) write to the company and complain bitterly. Tell them you intend to do this if they try to blow you off!

oh!..or.. will 235/35/19 fit in 19x8.5 rims?..if so, can i just use 235/35/19 all around, so i will match up for the front and have no problem?
or should i just change the front tire to 225/40/19 if it fit? because it only 0.2% too fast to the rear.....(the front is going 60 and the rear is going 59.9)
i think it is the closest i can get? or if it not fit, then 255/30/19 for the rear, it's 0.7% too fast to the rear....(the front is going 60..and the rear is going 59.6)...finaly, or should i just follow Mr.Mark's.. using 235/35/19 for rear? but it is it's 1.1% too slow to the front (the front is going 60..and the rear is going 60.7)...
so which is the most fit one..?( for long term use because i worry that the problem will come out after few years later) and first 2 choices the front are running faster than the rear..and the last one is the rear running faster than the front. are these going to do hurt my performence and stuff..?

Sorry, yes, I meant 225/35x19 front tires (lousy typist)! You don't need to worry about the wheel widths (unless you want to do 4 wheel rotations), just the outer tire diameter/circumference. File a complaint with the BBB online. They usually contact the dealer within a few days with the complaint. See where that gets you. At worst, you could run through your present tires and get a better matched set next time round. Seeing as they are not a tire store anyone here would want to deal with in the future, please let us know who and where they are ("name and shame").

the reason that i ask about 235/35/19 all around is because if i use same size tire, then i will have the same diameter/circumference even with different sizes of rims right? therefore i will not have any problem right? if not then for diameter/circumference..if i use the closest..like the one that you tell me to...will i still have problem after year and years..?it is what i most worry about.....
as i said it before..we called lexus and ask about it...they said as long as the diameter/circumference are not over1 to 2..then im ok with it...but i don't know if its only for short term or long term. im pretty sure that im going to keep my car for long.

there should be a tire out there that will allow you to get the front and rears within 1% If you dont feel confident with this then just get the same size rim and just play with the offset to make it look like they sit different and use the same tire size and call it a day.

if you are within ~ 1% then you will be fine. I am sure its off more then that with the OEM rims and tires for a few different reasons.

1. your tires are not all the same (mfg will have tolerance)
2. your air pressure is not always going to be the same!
3. your tires are not going to all wear perfectly even!!!
