I just bought some spark plugs Autolite APP3924 double platinum. Then i looked in the manual and it says only use iridium tipped spark plugs. has anyone used these non iridium tipped plugs? results? does it even matter?

I would just go with whats in the manual.

Make sure to only install Iridium like NGK or Denso. Curiously, you should not have to replace until 60k?

Hey Deacon,

How are things in SF? Yes, OEM should be Denso and they are easy to obtain at local auto parts locations. Probably $35 for all 6 plugs. The 2gen is easy to replace. The 1gen takes some time as a bunch of sensors, vacuum lines, throttle linkage, etc must be removed.
