I would not worry since your e-brake is located in the rear top-hat of the rotor. If your wondering if you need to replace the pads that you see on the rear, dont worry because that is not the e-brake part.

I don't know if our cars beep when you try and drive with the parking brake engaged... Maybe after a certain speed?

I've gone a few feet with the brake engaged on the very rare occasion when I get distracted getting into my car and it's never beeped, but never gone more than 10-15 feet before realizing that I'm an idiot...

Most girls I know don't notice beeping or warnings on the dash. I wouldn't be overly hard on her. That's how most girls are.

the ebrake pads may be slightly worn but no need to worry. if you need it to be as firm as it is new, simply adjust the the tension for the ebrake.

The beeping is really annoying though, I've gotten it once or twice before kind of like the seat belt beeping. It's really hard to go unnoticed without wondering wth it might be.

My wife has curbed two of my wheels.....I don't expect dealers and indie shops to care that much about my property, but I expect some consideration from her! I feel your pain.

I actually did this while my GF was the passenger and right when the warning light came on she said "Your E-BRAKE IS ON!" Good thing I only drove with it on for like less than 20 seconds.
