I remember seeing your car in our convoy from Irvine to the President's Day meet. It's quite nice and I'm glad you still enjoy it.

Philip, I also remember following you when you first got your IS, that first year I was so wanting this car but I waited for 2nd year, still it was tough gettting the exact combo I wanted especially in FL but it was sooo worth the wait and I didn't even have to special order, it just worked out for me. I rememeber seeing your color and wanting that, then I changed to Glacier and then when a TP came in with my exact options I could not turn away.

It would have been cool for you to show a progression in the years since you owed in (in photos) didn't you get your wheels chromed? Why don't you post pics of then and now and one in between.

Congrats on your 3 yr, I'm a little over a yr and this is the best all around car I have ever owned, little bit of sport, luxury, speed, great nav, ML, speed, Lux Pkg, everything within easy reach, speed, cockpit feel, Lexus makes the best leather in the world, I love the intimate feel behind the wheel, it really has everything I need and oh did I say speed? *grin*

My car is 2.5 years old and people tell me it still has that new car smell. Maybe it's my deodorant?

O.K. Here are some pics (some of you guys probably remember these):

First day:

Tinted and chromed the stocks:

Tanabe exhaust and red-outs:

Changed the wheels and dropped on Eibachs:

Added Wald trunk spoiler:

My fourth front lip (destroyed the first three... ) :

And with 6000k headlights and yellow fogs (with my bike):

Yeah.

Special Orders from Toyota HQ registers my car straight from Japan, not to a dealership...

Ah, a fellow OG 2IS owner. I think you got the 1st one off the boat, and I got the 2nd... Phil you probably feel the same, but I know mine still feels like new, and I enjoy it even more now than the day I drove it off the lot. Congrats on turning 3!

Mine will turn 3 years after a few weeks, and I still can't find a better Daily Driver out there to replace her, and the car still feels fresh and new.
