www.edmunds.com for invoice and msrp quotes with options.

But I never bother using MSRP for anything, invoice is how you should negotiate on a car.

If you're talking about an 08 sitting on the lot at this late date (just weeks before the 09s show up) I wouldn't pay anything over invoice at all, ideally less.

agreed, you should definitely not be paying anything more than 200 over invoice, although you should probably be able to get invoice pretty easily right now considering the economy and the fact that sales have been steadily declining every month for all auto manufacturers.

one of the best things you can do is email a few dealerships or visit a few, and have them fight for your business. Good luck!

On the contrary, thanks for letting us know the link was broken. It's fixed now.

+1.....the only stupid questions come from people who don't search first...and by extension are stupid themselves

You, having searched, actually found a problem with the forum thereby increasing the chances that other people will find their answers via search and saving the rest of us from seeing the same questions asked over and over ad nauseam. I salute you sir, you are a true gentleman.

IS sales for the year are down a small 2.1%, and August 2008 sales were +17% over August 2007 sales. With people going into smaller cars I doubt that in most markets you will get invoice pricing. Perhaps you can do it CA, but in those areas with only one or two dealers you will have to be a real negotiator. Lexus does not have loads of '08's to sell to make room for the '09's. Toyota is good at matching supply and demand. They will glide from the '08 to the '09 MY without having to resort to some sort of blow out pricing.
