I have to get a brake job (resurface the rotar and maybe new pads) on my IS 350...Lexus qouted me 250 to 300 dollars, so in return i told them to screw off tryin to over charge me...i called toyota up and they said 120 maybe less...do you think i could trust toyota with my car??? and any future oil changes?

^^^ Same here, got my TPMS programmed, tires mounted, etc. My local Toyota dealer is actually really nice and its one of the best in my area for service. So I usually go for small things like that there.

Well i dont know about them but if the lexus and toyota dealership are owned by the same people then toyota could refuse you and make you go to lexus to pay the extra dough.

This is an old discussion. Toyota dealers may be cheaper and more convenient for some, and they certainly can do the work properly, but they cannot do warranty or recall work nor do they have those parts that are unique to a Lexus. Besides, back when I owned a Toyota, they never washed my car after service.

Currently I'm in upstate NY, so I have been going to a local dealer here. Nearest Lexus dealer for me is about 65miles. However, for warranty work etc. I would still make the drive to the Lexus dealer. If you are actually in upstate NY PM me.
