Hi all,

I just picked up my new IS250 AWD on Thursday. Love the car, but have a quick question. I can't seem to adjust the seat right to get any upper-back or neck support. As a result I have a constant neck ache. Anyone else have this problem or have a solution. I keep messing with the seat and making it worse. I love my new car, but it is causing me pain!

Thanks for you help.

I'd go for a neck pillow, JP ones perhaps.

Damn I have the same problem.. I have major back problems, so I re-adjust my whole sitting, and no lumbar support.. And I move my sit as far back as I can and it helped. You just gotta give a couple of days before you can get used to the leather and stuff.. That how I was the first week..lol Well hope it works out for you.. And welcome to CL!!! This a great site..

thanks phil888
you have given me hope that I will adjust to it. Nothing like buying a $38,000 car that is uncomfortable.

I have the same problem. Although it's gotten a little better. I've had the car for 2 years now, maybe I just got use to it

At one point I was planning to add more padding to it. If your car is new it will only get worse since the back padding gets a little softer as time goes by. I'm more comfortable in my daily driver (04 Accord), but it does have stiffer seats compared to the IS. My back is weird!!

put the seat all the way back , put the lumbar all the way on, and lean the seat 4/5 back... (till the seat touches the rear seat)

Thats how i roll... as comfy as i ever had. My GF 335xi seats are terrible compared to my awd is250.

But i am one of only people to nig the seat out that much LOL when people see it their like OMG!

i personally dont understand how people drive with their seat SO far forward and actually lean their heads on the headrests. I see some people so far forward that their stomach is touching the steering wheel... LOLWTF?? hehe

i know there is lumbar and neck rests you can buy. I was gonna get the lumbar to see what it feels like, but it looked so cheap. I dunno... the junction produce neck pads look nice, but dont want that WHITE lettering on black that says JUNCTION PRODUCE, cus what the hell is that, it just doesnt compliment the lexus IMO, do you guys know can you get it black with black letters/stitching? so there iis no white on the pads at all?

Get the toms neckpads!! Because they are actually memory foam but to warn you, its going to run like 100 a pad.

Junction produce comes with black writing or white writing. Contact Carson to get a quote.
