**** Whats WRONG???
Ok so after installing my sub (alpine 1500w Type R 10" and alpine mrp 1000) I go to close the trunk, the trunk closes fine but my friend forgot his keys in theyre. Basicly the trunk wont open, luckily I had the center armrest open(in the rear bench) so we pulled the emergency release to get it open(so if you kidnap a person they can run away at a red light). I cant tell if theyre is anything wrong with the lock its self. It just wont open.
My C.D player worked fine but now after switching C.D's constantly its jammed and reads ERROR 3.
Thanks in advance.
sorry for my grammer, I'm a foreign guy

I'm quite confused too...if you can get to the centre armrest, that means the doors are opened, yes?
why not just open the trunk with the latch on the driver's side

as far as i can tell the trunk was eventually opened and the keys are out ... so i dont get the problem there (note correct type of 'there')
as for 'error 3' ... bad news man, you need a new stacker, yours is jammed

Well looks like you got the key out, so that's not a problem anymore. Although not sure why you used the rear arm rest when you can pop the trunk with the trunk opener up on the front.
As for your CD player, what type of CD are you using? Is is burned CD's? With labels? From other member experience, any type of CD's with labels can easily get jammed just because the of the weight distribution and how that affects the spin of the CD.
My only solution to offer is to take it back to the dealership if it's under warranty.

^^^^ drunk dave...I think that he is trying to say that, whenever the sub is ON the trunk is closed, so the keys are somewhere else and music is in too many cd's so therefore you get error 3 blinking on your screen....got it?!

hmm... let me take a stab at it... the trunk won't open when you press the button luckily you had the latch open unless you use the latch... you probably have the trunk button locked which you could unlock it by pressing the button in your glove compartment.
as for the cd player and being jammed unfortunately you'll probably have to take it back to the dealer
